Complaints & Warranty Policy

At Sjösten Sweden, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products.
If you experience an issue with your purchase, we are committed to handling your complaint fairly and efficiently.

Right to Make a Complaint (Warranty)

In accordance with Swedish consumer law, you have the right to make a complaint regarding manufacturing defects or faults that were present at the time of delivery.

  • The right to complain applies for up to 36 months (3 years) from the date of purchase.

  • A valid complaint must concern a manufacturing or material defect, not normal wear and tear or damage caused by improper use.

What Is Considered a Valid Complaint

A complaint may be approved if the issue relates to:

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Faulty materials or construction

  • Defects that were present upon delivery

The following are not considered valid complaints:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents or improper care

  • Scratches, marks or aging caused by regular use

  • Damage caused by repairs or modifications made by third parties

  • Changes in appearance due to natural material characteristics (e.g. leather patina)

How to Submit a Complaint

To submit a complaint, please contact us by email as soon as the issue is discovered and include the following information:

  • Your order number

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Photos or videos clearly showing the defect

Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after the defect was discovered. Complaints submitted later than two months after discovery may be considered delayed.

Inspection & Handling

Once we receive your complaint, the product will be reviewed and assessed.

If the complaint is approved, we will offer one of the following solutions, in accordance with applicable law:

  • Repair of the product

  • Replacement with an equivalent product

  • Partial or full refund if repair or replacement is not possible

The solution will be determined based on the nature of the defect and product availability.

Return Shipping for Approved Complaints

If your complaint is approved, Sjösten Sweden will cover reasonable return shipping costs.
You must follow the return instructions provided by us before sending the product back.

We do not take responsibility for items returned without prior approval or without traceable shipping.

Rejected Complaints

If a complaint is not approved, the product will be returned to you.
In such cases, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Care & Responsibility

We recommend following all care instructions provided with the product.
Failure to do so may affect your right to make a valid complaint.
